I bought this game and I can’t play! The game always crashes! Do not buy this game in App Store.

Game loads the developer advertisement videos, then gets to the press a key screen, then crashes. Consistently. My computer is a 2015 MacBook Pro with the i7 core, 16 GB RAM, SSD drive, and AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB.

didn’t run on yosemite for weeks / new partition needed / No gaming with not „macApp version“ / gamecrashing bug in TVHM / Bug gets fixed, game breaks, DLCs lost around 10 hours spend on writing to support / reinstalling older OSx etc. for 100 hours of gameplay? never again! Great game overall, but i will go back to play it on xBox

I just brought home my brand new iMac 5K…and what game do you think I chose to play on it first? This one…only thing it doesn’t work…won’t even launch. Not sure if it’s Yosemite or the 5K, but either way, lousy because no warning given on the app store that this won’t work. Gee, why would I think a brand new computer would be able to play a brand new game release? Found some comment somewhere that update might take 1-3 months?!?!? And they have my $60.

Great game overall, amazing story, fun gameplay, but it is still missung the whole farming aspect of the game that people play it for. Hopefully next update will fix that so that we can farm any bosses we want multiple times and not have to Command+Q the game just to farm.

I run this on my macbook air with yosemite , and it runs great ! love this game played the first and the second now falling in love all over again

I abosutley love this game except one porblem I cant buy any DLC if that where fixed I’d give it 5 stars for sure.

Stunning graphic! All graphic optoions are maxed out on a 2014 mbp with 2G of GPU, and works smoothly!

At the opening screen on my Mac the DLC is not available. Not sure why? It says there are three (3) updates there, but still nothing shows up in the screen. Weird, as the rest of the stuff shows something, like the “Other Mac Games”. Fix this and you get 5 stars.

Before anyone even says it… the hardware is a brand new Macbook Pro OS 10.11.4 with i7 quad core, 16GB RAM, and Intel Iris Pro graphics…well above the required specs. Game loads opening studio advertisement videos…and says “press any key” you press a key it goes to game load screen for about 2 seconds then crashes. VERY UNHAPPY…just dropped $40 on this? Really?

The Mac version sold here does not fully function as a version from somewhere else might. I have no Shift terminals or the ability to input shift codes anywhere. This means that the free codes given out from time to time for free in game guns and perks, is unavailable. It is one of the main components of the game. Everyone anticipates and enjoys the use of these codes, as they have in both previous games. I have heard from other users, that the previous copy of Borderlands 2 had the same issue. I very much wish I knew this in advance, specifically. I feel like I’ve been tricked into buying a game at full price, without the full functionality.

Less gravity jumping, new weapons, rides… I love Borderlands!!!

i had borderlands 2 for the xbox 360 and love playing it but then sold the 360 to get the xbox one i missed playing this so i bought this on for my mac and love it… if you have a playstion 3 controler hooks up to the bluetooth with no hacking… why dont they make more new games for the mac??? this is amazing on my iMac 27”….. the only problem is that i cant find were to put the shift codes but that doesnt really bother me i just like playing the game and shooting thing lol..

Best game ever. Hit launch game; nothing happens. So fun.

boderlands is dependable - aspyr makes good products. No complaints and runs well on an older mac.

I have played the other Borderlands games, and this one is just as good. I have not had any problems with loading. The only problems I have had is with memory, so I adjusted the graphics settings.

I have played all 3 editions of Borderlands now, and my only complaint I have is we still have to wait for the DLC (and maybe the price ;-) but it’s still worth it). It’s one of the best games on this platform or any other and I look forward to seeing what come next. As to the “Steam" shill who says you should only purchase the game there… all I can say is; I wouldn’t load even a free game threw Steam. The software they make you load even to run a game stand alone causes more problems then I have the time or inclnation to list here. If you interrested just do a search on what people who used to use Steam have to say about the service before purchasing anything there.

from a scale through 1-10 i would probably give it a 8 because the gameplay and graphics are decent. But the thing that brings this game down is the multiplayer. If you depend on your friends you wont make it very fa. So get iton steam if you like people. But all in all it is worth the money. GREAT GAME!!!!
